Hey Sharla, Our ward is having a person come teach us about saving money on grocery shopping from Grocery smarts this week. Is that similar to Pinching your Pennies? They say they will be offering the sunday newspaper for a discount, but what kind of discount is good enough to settle for? can you give me a price range? I think I'm ready to finally get on board. I've been watching you save money all summer and I've been too lazy to join the bandwagon :) but my grocery bill is just hard to look at each month! So, can you give me some advice? thanks
Maria, PYP uses grocery smarts, so they are basically the same thing! I absolutely love grocery smarts. They are the best feature on PYP in my opinion. As for newspaper deals, it depends on which paper. $39/year is the regular "special" price for Deseret News Sunday only subscription. I save soooo much more than that. It easily pays for itself.
