Newspaper Article

Here is an article about couponing from the Deseret Morning News yesterday. I especially like the part about choosing the price we're willing to pay. Check it out!

wow, good article, thanks! It was interested to hear the grocery guru's take on it. I totally spend more than an hour a week on couponing and I never go to just 1 store a week. So maybe I'm not saving as much as I could be? At the same time though, it's a hobby for me. I can't imagine only spending an hour a week on it all, including shopping time! That's crazy! It's nice to get to the point where you can choose what price you are willing to pay. It's nice to have a stockpile of stuff and rarely have to buy anything that's not on sale and/or without a coupon. Thanks for sharing! Oh, also, I keep hearing about the beer rebates. I always just figured they were for beer, so I never paid attention to it. What are they exactly?

I like that the article pointed out 2 completely different ways to coupon. I, of course, use PYP and am partial to it's methods. I'm not much of a fan of the "guru." I have found that my time commitment in couponing has decreased tons since I began, but I'd say I spend 1 hour NOT including shopping time. And I usually go to 2 stores a week.
Oh, and I've been meaning to post on beer rebates for awhile. I can't believe you haven't tried them. Watch for that post coming up.
