Beer Rebates

Beer Rebates are unique enough to warrant their own post. Because beer companies are limited in what promotions they can offer, they put out rebates. In many states, it is illegal to require a beer purchase to redeem the rebate. Utah is one of those states. (I have one in front of me that lists AL, AR, CT, HI IN, KY, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, RI, SD, UT, VA, WV.) The rebates are on a wide variety of purchases-- deli chicken, BBQ grills, pizza, produce, TVs, bottled water, health club memberships, etc. I'd estimate that 1/2 of the food rebates are full rebates. For example, I recently sent in a Budweiser rebate for $10 back when you spend $10 on deli items or pizza. Look for tearpads with the rebate forms on beer displays in grocery stores or gas stations.

It depends on your store. In my store, they are usually in the beer aisle or another beer display. But, sometimes the rebates for deli items will be by the deli or the rebates for fresh meat will be at the butcher block.

Have you found any good ones lately? I haven't seen any the last couple of times I have been shopping, I did just look by the beer though. I guess I need to check by the deli/meat too.

I haven't seen them around lately. It seems like you either see 4 on a single trip, or none for a few months. There should be some good ones for the summer months, so I'll keep looking...
